Trombonist Lisa Stick has assembled her dream lineup for her quartet featuring Cesar Joaniquet (saxophone) Anders Jormin (double bass) and Heinrich Kobberling (drums). The band originally came together for just one evening when Hamburg-based trombonist Lisa Stick assembled her dream lineup for a concert in January 2024: Cesar Joaniquet from Aarhus on tenor and soprano saxophone Anders Jormin from Gothenburg on double bass and Heinrich Kobberling from Berlin on drums. That same evening it was clear that the musicians wanted to continue playing together because it was such a good fit. So more concerts followed including one at "Loft" in Cologne in April 2025 which was recorded by Christian Heck. Here the band played without a piano for the first time a accidental change that proved to be a great idea. Reducing the lineup to a quartet without a harmony instrument opened up new sonic possibilities and greatly enhanced the music. The four musicians' sheer joy in playing is unmistakable. ＜収録内容＞ 1.
