For the first time he is intensively exploring the sound aesthetics of a classical string quartet. The album focuses on the combination of improvised music with the tonal subtlety of classical chamber music. The compositions are characterized by transparent forms open harmonies and restrained quiet textures. Improvisation and compositional structure are given equal weight.
